Local, Fresh & Healthy
Simmons Family Farms is a locally owned and family
operated farm dedicated to growing local produce for the Austin
area using organic growing practices. We are members of the
Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (TOFGA)
and The Sustainable Food Center in Austin, Texas. We
understand the importance of having food available locally that is
free from chemical pesticides, herbicides and preservatives used
to treat so much of our nation's food supply. We strive to
deliver our produce as soon as possible to insure the greatest
quality and freshness.

Come Visit the Farm
We enjoy farm visitors. It is best
to call before visiting so that we
can give you our undivided
attention. If you are interested in
our "Work 4 Food" program,
please let us know through the
"Contact Us" tab. Also, we will
soon have rooms available for
people to stay for 2-3 day
intervals for a real farming
experience. The rooms are very
basic but comfortable. They
should be finished by the end of
this year.
For those unable to make the trip
to the farm, we encourage you to
buy our produce (or food made
with our produce) at one of the
many local markets/restaurants
listed here.
